Repair of Slate Roof & install Custom Snow Guards Scott KIDNEY assisted us in the Application process to the Salem Historical Commission & was available to appear, if needed, for the approval hearing at City Hall. Scott KIDNEY & his Crew are true Professionals. They arrived at exactly 07:30 on the scheduled Morning, and began to Prep the Site before anything was begun. Once the Site was secure & prepared, they went right to work replacing the damaged slate tiles. Due to the fluctuations of new England Weather the work took place over a 3 week period, but Scott kept us updated as due to the progress & times in spite of the assistance of Mother Nature… The Crew Cleaned up the Site & Stowed every piece of equipment Each & Every Night before leaving! The Final work took place over a 3 day time span & the result is Great! It matches perfectly & is in keeping with the Historical District Style!

JB Kidney Roofing Company and Owner Scott Kidney solved a leaky roof that 5 other roofers before him tried to fix and couldn’t. I was skeptical at first seeing a younger guy show up, but he (Scott) knew exactly where to look and pin pointed the leak in a matter of minutes. Scott and his crew show up with such professionalism and knowledge I wouldn’t waste my time with any other company than JB Kidney Roofing for contracting work. Scott also gave me incredible contacts for other trades which were as professional as he and his crew is. If you think there is only bad shady contractors out there, then you have not found Scott Kidney.

The Kidney Family has been maintaining my 100+ year old slate roof for over 15 years. Without pushing me for a complete overhaul of my roof, Kevin and his family bi-annually inspect my roof and do all necessary slate repair while maintaining the unique purple color of my roof. They have also replaced the valleys and ridges as needed. Upon completion each day, they take as much care cleaning up the ground debris as they do with the roof work which keeps my gardeners very happy. The only roofers I will let on my roof along with many of my longtime neighbors. —–Google Review
